Forney Webb Scholarship

Purpose
Now more than ever, our society needs men and women of character to lead the way. As  a boarding school, through our residential and academic programs, Webb strives to develop men and women of character who will become the leaders of tomorrow. We believe that students flourish in a community that commits itself to the highest standards of honesty, trust, mutual respect, and integrity.

The Forney Family Scholarship Fund, created by John and Jai Forney, Jonathan Forney ’02, and Christopher Forney ’03 will allow The Webb Schools to attract and support the best and brightest and most diverse young men and women who wish to build on an established foundation of personal integrity, hard work, and personal achievement.

Criteria
Student recipients of The Forney Family Scholarship will demonstrate the following attributes:

• acceptance to The Webb Schools as boarding students;
• extreme financial need;
• admirable qualities of character;
• demonstrated leadership abilities;
• academic excellence;
• potential to contribute positively to the spirit and life of the Webb community (athletics, performing arts, publications, etc.).
